Seamless Rollovers. Smarter Protection.

Move eligible retirement assets into a fixed indexed annuity designed to protect principal from negative index performance, preserve tax-deferred status through a properly completed rollover, and create options for future retirement income.

Contractual protection Multiple carrier options Appointment-only guidance

Contract guarantees are made solely by the issuing insurance company and are subject to the complete contract and the insurer’s claims-paying ability. Withdrawals, surrender charges, market-value adjustments, rider or contract charges, required distributions and taxes can reduce value or benefits.

Downside protection.Negative index performance alone does not produce negative index interest under applicable fixed indexed strategies.
Tax-deferred continuity. An eligible direct rollover may continue tax deferral without current mandatory withholding.
Income choices.Available contracts may offer guaranteed lifetime-income features, subject to terms and possible rider charges.
The promise is in the contract

Your retirement plan took years to build. Its next home should offer guarantees you can read—not predictions you have to believe.

Explore your protection options

Protection you can understand. Growth potential you can keep.

Fixed indexed annuities are long-term insurance contracts that can combine contractual principal protection, index-linked interest potential and optional retirement-income features.

01

Principal protection from index losses

Under applicable fixed indexed crediting strategies, a declining referenced index does not create negative index interest for the crediting period.

Contract terms control. Withdrawals, charges and adjustments may still reduce value.
02

Index-linked growth opportunity

Interest may be credited in part by the performance of an external index without directly owning the index or its stocks.

Caps, participation rates, spreads and other contract provisions can limit credited interest.
03

Tax-deferred rollover continuity

A properly completed eligible direct rollover can move retirement assets to an IRA annuity without current federal income-tax withholding.

An annuity inside an IRA does not create additional tax deferral beyond the IRA.
04

Guaranteed income choices

Depending on the contract, annuitization or an optional income rider may provide payments that cannot be outlived under stated conditions.

Income riders may have charges, restrictions and benefit bases that are not cash value.

A rollover is one of several possible choices. Leaving assets in a former plan, moving them to a new employer plan or taking a distribution may be available and may be preferable in some circumstances. A licensed professional should compare relevant costs, access, protections, services and tax consequences before recommending an annuity rollover.

We compare the contract—not just the headline rate.

Available fixed indexed annuities can differ significantly. A meaningful review looks at the guarantees, crediting method, surrender schedule, access rules, income provisions, insurer strength and how the contract fits your retirement goals.

01

Written guarantees: What is guaranteed, for how long, under which conditions and by which issuing insurance company?

02

Crediting strategy: Which index, cap, participation rate, spread, declared rate or other method determines interest?

03

Access and liquidity: What free-withdrawal amount, surrender schedule or market-value adjustment applies?

04

Income and legacy: What optional riders, costs, death benefits, beneficiary rules and lifetime-income conditions apply?

Build your protection comparison

Real safeguards. Clearly defined.

Contractual

The protection comes from written guarantees in the issued annuity contract—not from a market forecast or a website promise.

Insurer-backed

The issuing insurance company is responsible for its guarantees, so financial strength and claims-paying ability matter.

Defined growth

Index-linked interest is calculated by a contract formula with stated limits, rather than by direct ownership of market securities.

Long-term fit

Protection works best when the surrender period, access provisions, income goals and time horizon match your situation.

Ask your question: 505-990-8201
What makes a fixed indexed annuity different?

It is a fixed insurance contract whose interest may be linked in part to an external index. The owner does not directly own the index or its stocks. Under applicable fixed indexed strategies, negative index performance does not produce negative index interest, while caps, participation rates, spreads and other terms may limit positive interest.

Can the contract value decline when the stock market declines?

Negative performance of the referenced index alone generally does not create negative index interest under a fixed indexed strategy. However, withdrawals, surrender charges, market-value adjustments, rider or contract charges, required distributions and taxes may reduce contract value or benefits. Exact contract terms control.

Who provides the guarantee?

The issuing insurance company—not My Safe Rollover, a bank or the federal government—provides the contractual guarantees. Every guarantee is subject to the contract and the insurer’s claims-paying ability and financial strength.

Can I roll over without paying federal income tax today?

An eligible direct rollover to an IRA generally continues tax deferral and avoids mandatory 20% federal withholding because the distribution is not paid to you. Eligibility and tax treatment vary, and Roth conversions or amounts not properly rolled over can create current taxable income.

Can I still access my money?

Many contracts provide limited annual withdrawals without a surrender charge, but the amount and conditions vary. Additional withdrawals may trigger surrender charges, market-value adjustments, reduced benefits or taxes. Fixed indexed annuities are designed for long-term retirement money, not short-term cash needs.

Do I have to roll over the entire account?

Not always. Some plans, custodians and annuity contracts may permit a partial rollover, subject to eligibility, minimums and plan rules. A partial rollover can sometimes preserve liquidity or plan features, but it must be evaluated individually.

Can an annuity provide income for life?

Depending on the contract, annuitization or an optional income rider may provide payments for life under stated conditions. Rider charges, waiting periods, withdrawal percentages, benefit-base calculations and effects on beneficiaries should be reviewed carefully.

Is a fixed indexed annuity FDIC insured?

No. An annuity is an insurance product, not a bank deposit. It is not insured by the FDIC or NCUA and is not guaranteed by a bank or federal agency. Contractual guarantees depend on the issuing insurance company.

Is a rollover always the right choice?

No. Leaving assets in a former plan or moving them to a new employer plan may preserve features, costs, investments, loans, creditor protections or withdrawal rights that are important to you. Relevant alternatives should be compared before an annuity rollover is recommended.

Can I visit an office without an appointment?
